Jun was even deemed worthy for even Ogre to seek out and this is a Japanese game so the Japanese fighters have to be the best right? Michelle has beaten both Kunimitsu and Ganryu in the first two tournament and I believe Lili beat Ganryu as well. The Kazamas have decent track records in tournaments with Jun defeating Wang and Asuka beating Lili. Nina Williams the most prominent female but she outside of beating Anna she constantly fails to assassinate anyone relevant. Storyline which female fighter has to best track record? Seriously, the other closest fighter is Paul and he gets treated as a joke more and more, i guess Hwoarang defeated Jin in Tekken 5 according to canon.but then got destroyed by Devil Jin because the Devil Forms screw everyone that isn't a Mishima, Akuma was like the first time in a while that a character clearly can beat not only the Mishima family, but actually fight the devil forms, i think that's why Akuma in Tekken 7 is so loved even if he came from another series.and yet if he doesn't come back for Tekken 8, i can just see Harada learning nothing and Tekken 8 being Mishima family do everything and maybe, just maybe someone manages to kinda annoy them before they reveal their true power and swat them like flies.yeesh, no wonder Akuma got popular with Tekken fans when it comes to story.If one were to ask me who the strongest Tekken fighters other than one of the Mishimas (obviously) I would say perhaps Paul, Hwoarang or maybe Feng. Now if one were to ask who the best female fighter is storyline-wise that would be less straight-forward. Maybe it's because i am not really into the competitive scene, but i don't mind guest characters in fighting games, Tekken 7 is probably the game with the highest number of guest characters and they don't even make a fifth of the roster, i mean, the base roster without DLC is.36 characters, with all DLC you have.4 guest characters, that is such a small part of the roster it actually seems odd to me people care so much, yes, Akuma becoming canon is too much even if generally people actually seem to have liked it.but i think part of it is just a character that isn't part of the Mishima family ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO STAND UP TO THEM. Your coming off really desperate trying to make this a reality while ignoring the actual reality. You bring up Sora but it was never an impossibility but just look at it, no Donald or Goofy, no other appearance by the other Keyweilders besides art pieces, no real Disney connection just the Kingdom Key no other connection to Disney outside of the Kingdom Key Emblem which took alot to get through to legal and will just be in that game only. No one really cares what you think of Illumination, Nintendo trusted them after years of working and talking with Universal and if it doesn't work out Nintendo can always just limit Universal involvement to Theme parks just like when they stopped for so long after the Super Mario Brothers movie. Universal worked there ass off trying to secure a partnership with Nintendo thats been in the works for years, beyond just making Nintendo additions to the theme parks but to make sure when they use said characters it fits Nintendo vision/style, looks of said characters.
